Web Design
Professional Web Design
by Ken McBride should only be considered if you can reasonably answer
the following question.
"How can a professionally designed web site save or make money for
our business or organisation and can we afford to get it wrong".
Unless you can come up with a few ideas or possibilities to the above
question then you should seriously not consider professional web design
at this stage. You need to have a clear idea of what you want your
web site to do for you. If you want to call into our office in 'The
Buttermarket' Down Street, Enniskillen to discuss how your business
or organisation could benefit from the effective web design services
that we offer then by all means do. We can then show you examples
of good web design, bad web design, effective web design and web design
that complies to standards.
Brochure Design
We mainly concentrate on brochure design web sites which help get
companies off to a good solid start on the internet. This helps build
confidence with regards to the direction that a business or project
wishes to develop after they have been established for a while.
Content Management Systems
If you want to easily and quickly update the content of your web site
we can add a Content Management System that we developed from scratch.
With our system it really is as simple as ABC and you don't need to
have any technical knowledge what so ever.
At the end of the day you have to think about your customers and how
you can satisfy their needs. If you don't someone else will.
Services Offered
Web site design / re-design
We can design a web site that fits in with your present image so that
your existing customers recognise your identity immediately online.
We also re-design existing web sites that need to be freshened up.
Your site will be designed to fully meet the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium)
standards so that you know that your site has been coded using the
correct rules set out by the Internet's main governing body. Very
few web designers can offer this level of precision in coding.
360° Virtual Reality Photography
Ken McBride is currently offering the highest quality full screen
360 photographic panoramas. As far as online marketing is concerned
it allows the viewer a virtual introduction to the real-world experience
that awaits them, in a way that surpasses all previous attempts at
360 virtual reality tours. Find out more on our 360°
Virtual Reality Photography page.
Professional Photography Service
Possibly the biggest advantage that we can offer over the competition
is our professional photography service which will make the business
images on your web site look first class. They will be your images
and not stock images, so you are giving a true accurate reflection
of your business to your customers on the internet which they will
appreciate. Check out our commercial
photography section for examples of our work.
CSS (Cascading Style sheet) development
We offer full CSS development for your site as standard. What this
means is we can control exactly how your site appears to the end user
on screen and in print. Generally what you see is what you print but
we can remove unnecessary clutter such as navigation so that your
prospect gets the meat of the message. Using full CSS for developing
the site also has a major impact on the internet search engines ability
to successfully index your site resulting in a higher position over
a non CSS web site in the results. This combined with careful search
engine optimisation can turn your web site into a very powerful marketing
tool. This again is a unique service and fully implemented by only
a few web designers.
Domain name registration / Web site hosting
We can arrange reliable domain name registration that is owned solely
by you. We can arrange web site hosting for your web site. What we
would encourage is paying for a proper service which will be monitored
for you by a proven company independent of us and who WILL FIX any
problems if they arise.
E-mail account configuration
We arrange e-mail accounts for your chosen domain name and configure
your computers to those accounts.
