Portrait Photography
Time can't be repeated, but a moment captured can.
There are two different types of portrait photography. Lifestyle
and studio. Both have there merits.
'Lifestyle / Environmental photography' is the 'in vogue' fashion of
photography as illustrated in any of today's magazines.
It is a relaxed form of photography as it is generally shot out of the studio environment using natural light and/or flash. A big hit at the moment for 'lifestyle photography' is 18th and 21st birthdays just before the young ones 'fly the nest'.
'Models Wanted' From time to time we require a model to try out new lighting techniques. The type of models we are looking for must be over 18, female/male, with a reasonable confidence about themselves. They should have a natural presence, enjoy being photographed, take direction and understand that it may take time to get the shot that we are after. They will be required to sign a 'model release' form. Payment will be on a 'prints for time' basis. If you are interested, either send us an email with a photo attached or drop into the gallery at 15 The Buttermarket, Enniskillen.
'Studio photography' is as the name suggests is based
in a studio.
The main feature of studio photography is that it uses artificial light. The
Swiss based lighting system that we use produces a beautiful soft
flattering light. 'Studio photography' suits babies and the very young
along with professional formal portraits.
'Special event photography' is when a special event takes place in a family such as a gathering for a Big '0' birthday or any other such ocassions.
