Portrait Photography
Today there are two different styles of portrait photography. Lifestyle
and studio. Both have there merits.
'Lifestyle photography' is the in vogue fashion of
photography at the minute which can be seen in any of today's magazines.
It is a relaxed form of photography that can portray a person beautifully
as it is generally shot out of the studio environment (which clients
tend to find more relaxing) using natural light. 'Lifestyle photography'
suits families and individuals with strong outdoor interests and connections.
'Studio photography' is as the name suggests is based
in a studio. It could be our own studio in The Buttermarket or one
that is set up on location such as your home or business. The main
feature of studio photography is that it uses artificial light. The
Swiss based lighting system that we use produces a beautiful soft
flattering light. 'Studio photography' suits babies and the very young
along with professional formal portraits and product shots which require
several different set-ups and changes.
Time can't be repeated, but a moment captured can.

'Children photography' is where we initially started
out with. It is a precious time to capture professional images of
your young ones. Having them framed a presented around the house is
also important for the child, as they can identify themselves within
the family unit much more strongly, which enhances their self esteem
in the formative years. We would recommend Studio photography for
the early years and then moving on to Lifestyle photography as they
get older.
